Murder charge faces assisted living operator for death of resident

An operator of several unlicensed assisted living homes in Texas previously charged with abandoning a resident now is facing a murder charge after another resident’s death was ruled a homicide.
Two senior living operators recently entered settlement agreements after discrimination complaints were filed alleging age and disability discrimination or violations of immigration laws.
