More than two years after forging a strategic alliance, Willow Valley Communities and Acts–Retirement Life Communities are parting ways.

In May 2022, Acts assumed oversight of Willow Valley Living and took four of eight seats on the Willow Valley Communities board. Now, the two organizations have mutually and amicably agreed to end the alliance on or before Dec. 31.

“Willow Valley Communities and the Acts organization came together to forge a remarkable relationship between two of the nation’s most successful and respected senior living operators. The strategic alliance was successful in many ways leveraging the best of both organizations,” Willow Valley Communities Board Chair Jill Gilbert stated. “We are proud of all that has been accomplished and, as independent organizations, will continue to work together in areas of mutual interest. We are excited about the future for both organizations.”
