Dan Guill, CEO of Chicago-based Enlivant, appreciates employees and residents and is determined to make it known.

To honor the compassionate care the communities have provided during the COVID-19 pandemic, Guill is participating in a “Gratitude Tour,” celebrating a best-in-class vaccination program where 99% of the company’s employees have received COVID-19 vaccines. For the third year in a row, Enlivant has also received a Great Place to Work certification.

“This effort is about my appreciation for all our team members and all they’ve accomplished in 2021,” Guill said. “The pandemic has created so many challenges and these communities have not only overcome them, they’ve done so with integrity, humility and excellence.”

Some of the communities visited include Bailey Place, Bunkie, LA; Marigold Place, Alexandria, LA; and DeWolfe Place, Marion, OH.

Guill’s journey can be followed on Enlivant’s blog and social media channels. He documents his observations while on the road, keeps a video journal and participates in social outreach throughout his trips.

“It’s so important to see the compassion and excitement of our caring team members enriching the lives of residents first-hand,” Guill said. “We strive to become the nation’s most trusted senior living provider and the smiles and stories shared show me we’re succeeding.”
