Providence, a major nonprofit healthcare system, is consolidating many of its technology investments and service companies under the single Tegria brand.
Providence is one of the nation’s largest healthcare systems, with 51 hospitals, 1,085 physician clinics, senior services and supportive housing across Alaska, California, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas and Washington.
In recent years, Providence has developed or acquired technology platforms, processes and expertise to improve the way its system delivers patient care and operates, according to the firm.
“By making these services and solutions available to other healthcare organizations, we can support their strategies for improving the health of their local communities,” Providence President and CEO Rod Hochman, M.D., said.
Some Tegria companies include:
- Bluetree: An Epic strategy, delivery and support firm that helps organizations maximize return on their Epic investment.
- Engage IT Services: A full-service Meditech consultancy that provides a range of electronic health records systems with a team capable of supporting the needs of the complex hospital environment.
- Community Technologies: A healthcare tech company connecting local providers and patients through Epic technology products and services.
- MediRevv: A revenue cycle company partnering with hospitals, large physician groups, academic medical centers and health systems to increase cash and keep more patients through end-to-end revenue cycle management, patient pay solutions, insurance receivables follow-up and medical coding services.
