Andrew McNamara, MD, joins Trilogy as its first chief medical officer

Andrew McNamara, MD, has joined Louisville, KY-based Trilogy Health Services as the company’s first-ever chief medical officer. 

McNamara most recently was chief medical officer for Aetna Better Health of Kentucky. He began his career as a full-time family physician, practicing in Illinois for more than a decade. He transitioned into the role of vice president of medical affairs for McKesson Corp., with a focus on clinical informatics. He later worked as chief medical officer for Aetna Better Health of Illinois as well as Trust Healthcare.

Arboreta Healthcare announces Richard Mason as interim CEO

Richard Mason has been appointed interim CEO of Arboreta Healthcare after the departure of CEO Louis Collier Jr. on Feb. 1.

Chief Operating Officer Dale Poe and Chief Financial Officer Diane Harden also departed the organization on Feb. 1 and 8, respectively.

Mason was the co-founder of Trillium Healthcare, which was acquired by Arboreta in 2021, along with Banyan Pediatric Care Centers. Before founding Trillium in 2011, he was CEO of Sea Crest Healthcare for eight years and was vice president of operations for Beverly Healthcare from 1994 to 2002. 

He will handle company leadership and day-to-day operations while the board of directors initiates a nationwide executive search to fill these leadership roles.

Among its offerings, Arboreta provides independent living and assisted living, skilled nursing and rehabilitation across 29 facilities in Iowa, Nebraska, Texas, Florida and Georgia.

Immanuel announces John Croghan as VP of community operations

John Croghan has been named vice president of community operations at Immanuel

Croghan has worked in the senior living industry for more than 20 years. His most recent titles at Immanuel have been Lincoln regional director of operations and executive director at The Landing, an Immanuel signature community.

In his new role, Croghan will provide executive leadership for Immanuel’s community operations at all 11 campuses throughout Omaha and Lincoln, NE, and Council Bluffs and Des Moines, IA.

Morning Pointe names Bebe Reed new VP of clinical services

Bebe Reed has been named Morning Pointe Senior Living’s new vice president of clinical services.

Reed comes to the Morning Pointe team from Griffin Living, a senior living company where she was vice president of operations for assisted living.

Reed has 28 years of experience as a nurse, including providing leadership and mentorship in a variety of healthcare settings. She has a background in risk management, wellness and regulatory compliance.

Juniper Communities names Kristin Fogle national director of people

Kristin Fogle has been named national director of people at Bloomfield, NJ-based Juniper Communities.

Previously, Fogle was chief people officer for Milestone Retirement Communities and Elegance Living. In her new role, she will be involved with leadership and workforce development, associate  relations and change management, and she will be a culture champion.

Claiborne Senior Living appoints Alice Reynolds regional director of operations 

Alice Reynolds is regional director of operations for the Georgia and South Carolina communities of Claiborne Senior Living.

Reynolds comes with almost 20 years of experience in the assisted living industry and  directing multi-site operations. She has experience launching new communities and  converting acquired facilities.

Parkway Place names Tim List executive director 

Tim List is the new executive director for faith-based senior living community Parkway Place, a Buckner Retirement Services community.

List has experience across the full continuum of care, including independent living, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing, home health and personal assistance services.

His career in senior living began in 2012 at Longhorn Village, a life plan community in Austin, TX. There, he rose from lead chauffeur to administrator, serving in roles such as accounting specialist, employee relations supervisor, and assistant administrator along the way.

List earned an undergraduate degree in multidisciplinary studies from the University of Texas at El Paso and is a licensed nursing facility administrator.

Watercrest Senior Living Group names Sheila Fioretti dining services specialist

Sheila Fioretti is transitioning into a newly created role as dining services specialist for Watercrest Senior Living Group.

Fioretti joined the Watercrest family as executive chef of its largest campus, overseeing all aspects of culinary management for independent living, assisted living and memory care dining. In her new role, she will continue the advancement of Watercrest’s refined dining experiences, including healthy and diverse options, advanced employee training and world-class customer service. 

Fioretti has a culinary arts degree from Le Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts and more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality and dining industry. The majority of her time has been spent in senior living communities, but her culinary career also has spanned acute-care hospitals, long-term rehabilitation units, catering and high-end restaurants.

Eden Alternative names interim CEO, elects new board chair

Kathy Hagen has been named interim CEO by the Eden Alternative Board of Directors, which has elected Angie McAllister board chair. 

Hagen has been with the Eden Alternative since January 2011 and has served as operations manager, project administrator and, since 2021, head of business operations.

McAllister is the Spark Performance League Commissioner at Lifespark. She has more than 27 years of experience in healthcare, having started her career as a certified nursing assistant.

Perspectus names Bradley Fink and Ray Minotas to leadership team

Bradley Fink and Ray Minotas are assuming new leadership roles as principals of Perspectus, a full-service architectural firm specializing in senior living and other environments.

Fink has almost 20 years of architectural experience and has led many multidisciplinary project teams and implemented innovative design solutions for numerous notable projects in the healthcare field and beyond.

During his 15 years at Perspectus, Minotas has contributed to the firm’s growth and reputation as a leading healthcare design firm. He recently received board certification from the American College of Healthcare Architects for his specialization in healthcare design.

Popular Bank hires Suny Golovinsky as VP 

Suny Golovinsky has joined Popular Bank’s Healthcare Commercial Financing team as vice president and senior commercial relationship officer. He will oversee the existing healthcare portfolio and focus on strategic growth within the senior housing and skilled nursing areas.

Golovinsky will be based in Florida and will continue to expand the bank’s national healthcare-focused practice in the Southeast. An experienced commercial banker, he will oversee the existing healthcare portfolio and focus on strategic growth across all segments.

Before joining Popular, Golovinsky held roles of increasing responsibilities at an international financial institution, where he helped drive a five-year transformative commercial banking strategy.
