LifeLoop’s software platform for senior living operators now includes tools to help make sure residents, staff and family members are interacting with one another in meaningful ways.

The new product, LifeLoop Insights, includes a Community Engagement Index, which will provide a way for administrators and operators to track how well residents are being attended to at the community level.

“Senior living operators have long recognized the need for data intelligence that enables them with the information they need to provide the best in care for residents and improve business outcomes,” LifeLoop Chief Technology Officer Dylan Conley said in a statement. “However, the challenge this industry continues to face is the ability to gain actionable enterprise-level insights from disparate tooling and data sources.”

The platform is designed to provide data visualizations of organizational metrics and provide auto-generated recommendations for improvement.

One of the main goals of the new platform, and its engagement index, is to give providers a way to preempt issues such as low occupancy rates and/or declining profit margins, the company said.

As with many new software tools and additions within senior living, LifeLoop Insight also was designed to make administrative processes more efficient and engender action in a less time-consuming manner.

Previously known as iN2L + Lifeloop, the company rebranded to the shorter name last September.

The company has introduced several new tools and additions to its platform over the past year, some as part of exclusive partnerships with specific senior living operators. That includes Lifeloop’s expanded portfolio of wellness content, as well as a collaboration with Brookdale Senior Living to provide scrapbooking tools for residents living with dementia and Alzheimer’s.
