Columbus, OH-based National Church Residences has acquired a minority equity interest in SSIP Insurance Partners, which provides senior advisory services across all major senior insurance-related products.

NCR said that the partnership will allow the organization to provide additional comprehensive benefits navigation services to residents living in its senior living, affordable housing and permanent supportive housing properties.

SSIP provides consultation services spanning long-term care, retirement, health, legacy planning, Medicare supplements, Medicare Advantage plans and other insurance products by partnering with companies to consolidate the information all under one roof.

“Through our partnership with SSIP, we can ensure that our seniors are being advised by professionals who are independent about which products and carriers are right for them, based on their individual needs and preferences,” NCR Senior Vice President of Senior Living and Senior Services Susan DiMickele said in a statement

“By coupling this partnership with our other residential and healthcare offerings, we are building an ecosystem for our seniors that will ensure they have access to the best housing and benefits for their situation while wrapping around a superior healthcare model that allows seniors to live their best life by delivering benefits and healthcare at the right place, right time and right cost,” she added.

NCR topped the most recent LZ 200 list of multi-site providers ranked by total market-rate and affordable senior living units combined by LeadingAge and specialty investment bank Ziegler. The company operates independent living, assisted living and memory care communities as well as income-based apartments across 25 states, and it offers in-home care as well.
