WholeCare and LightWay, both Nashville, TN-based home healthcare providers, are merging under the WholeCare brand, with LightWay Founder Michael Jacques serving as CEO. The newly merged company will have 150 employees, making it one of the Nashville area’s largest home healthcare firms.

Founded in 2018, LightWay offers personal care, household assistance, meal preparation, transportation and respite care. WholeCare offers similar services, plus additional specialty care options for patients with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. Terms of the deal were not disclosed in a release.

“We’ll be able to help more clients with our combined platform and introduce innovative ideas to the market more quickly, such as virtual caregiving,” said Elizabeth Moss, chief care officer for WholeCare.
