McKnightsSeniorLiving.com has been named the top business-to-business website covering the assisted living industry.
The unsolicited honor comes from FeedSpot, an internet-based curator of online content, which compiled a list of “100 Best Assisted Living Blogs and Websites.”
Out of the 100 sites listed, McKnight’s Senior Living was the highest-ranked site producing content for industry professionals. The site ranked an impressive No. 2 overall, with the AARP’s Senior Planet website for consumers taking the top spot on the list.
The FeedSpot list also includes other business-to-business websites and the consumer-oriented websites of several senior providers.
FeedSpot said it compiled the “100 Best” list after reviewing thousands of websites and blogs. The rankings are based on traffic and social media followers and engagement, as well as freshness and relevance of content, posting frequency and total posts, among other factors.
“Blogs covering industry insights, news and personal opinions are given higher rankings than those promoting their own brand or products,” according to FeedSpot.
