McKnight’s Senior Living has won two national journalism awards for its news coverage in the American Society of Business Publication Editors’ 2021 Azbee Awards.

The brand earned a Bronze Award in Best Web News Section category and a Bronze Award in the Best Print News Section category.

“This is truly gratifying recognition of the quality content available to readers, day in and day out, both online and in print,” said John O’Connor, vice president and editorial director for all of the McKnight’s brands.

More than 800 entries were received for all of the competition’s categories.

In April, it was announced that McKnight’s Senior Living had earned five awards in the regional Azbee competition.

Among those awards were a Gold in the Best Print News Section category as well as three Silver awards — in the Best E-Newsletter category, for the McKnight’s Senior Living Daily Briefing; in the Best Regular Column, Staff Written category, for two online columns written by Editor Lois A. Bowers; and, with sister media brand McKnight’s Long-Term Care News, in the Best Special Section category, for the annual Dealmaker’s Handbook supplement. McKnight’s Senior Living also won a Bronze regional award in the Best Web News Section category for mcknightsseniorliving.com.
