The 2019 McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards program is now open for nominations. Entries will be accepted through July 24.
The competition features two tracks — one for senior living, and one for skilled nursing — with six categories each.
“Operators continue to innovate and expand the way they harness technology to improve care and operations,” said John O’Connor, vice president and editorial director over McKnight’s Senior Living and McKnight’s Long-Term Care News. “We are delighted to provide a forum where some of the best and brightest applications can be shared with the field.”
The annual contest recognizes providers that convey how technology — simple or advanced — has improved care and operations in their organizations. Categories in the senior living track include Quality, High-Tech/High-Touch, Innovator of the Year, Keep It Super Simple, Safety, and Activities. Categories in the skilled nursing track are the same except Transitions takes the place of Activities.
