Morning Pointe Senior Living communities across the southeastern United States set up Thankful Trees this month.

Each campus has been displaying a tree. Residents, employees, friends and volunteers are invited to note something for which they are thankful on “leaves” and then attach those leaves to the tree.

“Here we are in the month of thankfulness, and it seemed natural to have our residents, associates and others take time to reflect on their blessings,” Morning Pointe Vice President of Life Enrichment Amanda Baushke said. The effort, she added, is meant to bring thankfulness to the forefront of the campuses.

“We are truly thankful for each resident, associate, family member, friend and volunteer,” Baushke said.

Morning Pointe owns and operates 37 assisted living, personal care and memory care communities in five states — Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee — and is celebrating its silver anniversary throughout 2022.
