Covenant Retirement Communities formally has rebranded to Covenant Living Communities and Services.

Last September, as McKnight’s Senior Living reported, the company announced approval of the name change from its board of directors. As of June 25, with legal filings and documentation complete, the corporate name and identity officially have been changed.

“This rebranding positions our organization in a fresh, energetic and welcoming way for the older adults we serve, their family members and will help in attracting new employees,” said  Terri Cunliffe, Covenant Living president and CEO. “It is more than exciting to finally put our new name to full use for everyone to see.”

The new name and logo were chosen to reflect the company’s Christian heritage, according to Covenant Living.

Covenant Living owns and manages 16 communities in nine states. All of them will be changing their names and logo to incorporate the new branding. Each location will get new exterior signage, marketing collateral, rebranded websites and employee uniforms for those in healthcare, housekeeping, facilities maintenance and dining.

The company was ranked No. 5 on the 2018 LeadingAge Ziegler 200 list of largest not-for-profit multi-site senior living organizations by total number of units.
