Greystone, a national senior living adviser, has signed on as the newest resource partner with UniversityRetirementCommunities.com.

The site, which launched in the fall and is the brainchild of Andrew Carle, is meant to provide a one-stop directory of information for retirees interested in senior living communities that are associated with higher education institutions — what Carle calls university retirement communities, or URCs — as well as senior living companies and universities interested in developing URCs.

“Over the past 42 years, Greystone has developed and managed eight university retirement communities across the country,” Greystone co-CEO John Spooner said in a statement “Regardless of geographical location, this senior living solution continues to resonate with the active and purpose-driven senior and isn’t slowing down anytime soon.”

Carle said that Greystone’s experience in senior living and, specifically, university retirement communities, makes the company a valuable asset to the web site.

“Resource partners represent a critical element of our goal for UniversityRetirementCommunties.com to be a one-stop shop, not only for individuals seeking locations on such communities, but academic institutions or related organizations seeking to develop a new community, or improve upon an existing University Retirement Community,” said Carle, a former senior living executive and lead instructor for the graduate concentration in senior living administration at Georgetown University.

Greystone is the sixth resource center to partner with the website since it launched. Others include Carle Consulting LLC, LCS Development, Love & Company, Perkins Eastman and The Kendal Corp. Greystone will now display the “resource partner” logo on its own website, social media and related communications.
