helping senior get up

Staffing, compliance requirements and resident service are the top three concerns facing senior living operators today, according to a wide-ranging report by software management firm Dude Solutions.

The Senior Living Operations Report is based on data collected from nearly 350 leaders across the eldercare field.

When asked how they plan to stand out, 80% of respondents indicated customer service would be their differentiator. That was followed by staffing capabilities (75%), culture (68%), activities (58%), lifestyle and wellness programs (54%) and technology (52%). Findings are based on responses from 343 senior living professionals.

Josh Malbogat, director of senior living at Dude Solutions, sees technology as a key to future success. “With tools like software to track and manage record-keeping, staffing, planning and using data, senior living operators can take their current challenges and turn them into opportunities for growth,” he said.

Survey questions focused on the factors affecting today’s operations, including market dynamics, human capital, technology / data, safety / quality and capital planning.
