Brentwood, TN-based Brookdale Senior Living ended 2022 with its 14th consecutive month of year-over-year weighted average occupancy growth, the company reported Tuesday.
The company said that December’s weighted average occupancy was an increase of 340 basis points year-over-year and an increase of 760 basis points since the start of COVID-19 pandemic recovery in March 2021.
The company’s fourth-quarter weighted average occupancy increased 70 basis points compared with the third quarter.
Month over month from November through December, weighted average occupancy was stable, at 77%, compared with 73.6% in December 2021. Likewise, month-end occupancy was unchanged from November to December, at 78.1%, compared with 74.5% in December 2021.
