Fort Washington, PA-based Acts Retirement–Life Communities and The Terraces at Bonita Springs, a continuing care retirement / life plan community in Bonita Springs, FL, have agreed to affiliate.

The affiliation is expected to be finalized Nov. 1, at which time The Terraces at Bonita Springs will join the the family of CCRCs as an affiliate member.

The Terraces at Bonita Springs, which opened in 2013, currently is managed by SanteFe Senior Living. The six-story community, offering independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing, is home to 245 residents.

It will become the sixth CCRC in Florida to be operated by Acts. Others include Mease Life in Dunedin, Azalea Trace in Pensacola, Indian River Estates in Vero Beach, and Edgewater at Boca Pointe and St. Andrews Estates in Boca Raton.

The affiliation brings the Acts organization’s operations to 28 CCRCs across nine states. In addition to Florida, those states include Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and South Carolina. Acts is the third largest not-for-profit senior living and care organization in the United States, according to the 2024 LeadingAge Ziegler 200 list.
