Green Cay Life Plan Village plans to incorporate smart technology throughout the campus of its not-yet-named continuing care retirement community in Boynton Beach, FL.

The $250 million CCRC is projected to break ground in 2024, with completion slated for 2026.

The campus is meant to have a resort feel with approximately 170 independent living, 16 assisted living and 16 memory care units, according to those involved.

Green Cay Life Plan Village has engaged BRP Senior Housing Management and Greenbrier Development as co-developers for the project.

“The baby boomer generation’s higher expectations continue to redefine the next generation of senior living communities. With the county’s senior population growth, timing is right for this new upscale buy-in option that gives residents predictable costs for peace of mind,” Richard Ackerman, BRP managing partner, said Thursday in a statement.

Independent living units will range from one to three bedrooms, assisted living units will include studio and one- and two-bedroom options, and memory care will be provided in studio apartments. Buy-in costs for the CCRC are expected to begin in the mid-$600,000s.
