Amanda Bates named personal moving consultant at Windsor Run

Amanda Bates has been named personal moving consultant at Windsor Run, an Erickson Living continuing care retirement community in Matthews, NC. She formerly was the events coordinator for the sales department of Windsor Run.

In her new position, Bates will lead the realty and moving services program for new residents transitioning to the community. She will offer customers individualized guidance on the logistics of their move and coordinate services with a preferred network of real estate agents, “downsizers” and senior move managers. The personal moving consultant works one-on-one with future residents to assist with everything from selecting a real estate professional to staging the house for sale, donating items, packing and laying out furniture in the new apartment home.

“Since our groundbreaking in 2016, Amanda has been a valuable part of our team at Windsor Run, making positive connections with literally hundreds of new residents and their family members,” stated Ryan Barkley, director of sales at Windsor Run. “The realty and moving services program is very popular with residents, and we are excited for Amanda as she takes this well-earned next step in her career.”

Bates has a degree in advertising from Murray State University in Kentucky.

Prorize names vice president of operations, directors of professional services

Atlanta-based Prorize, a global dynamic pricing solutions company, has expanded its senior leadership team by three to support the company’s continued growth in the senior living and the self-storage industries.

Amber Hyde, one of two new directors of professional services, joins the team after serving as pricing and revenue manager for both Holiday Retirement and Brookdale Senior Living. She will be responsible for client support and relations.

“I am very familiar with Prorize’s AI pricing platform from my days in the senior living industry, and I know the difference it can make to the bottom line,” Hyde said. “After deploying their software, we would often see a double-digit revenue uplift, and I am excited to help other companies achieve similar results in this new role.”

Brookdale began using revenue management firm Prorize’s Senior Living Revenue Optimizer system across more than 170 independent living-focused properties in 2017 after a pilot test resulted in a “significant revenue lift.”

It’s the same pricing system for which Holiday Retirement and Prorize received the 2017 Franz Edelman Award for Achievement in Operations Research and the Management Sciences from INFORMS, an international association for operations research and analytics professionals. Holiday said the system led to the company consistently realizing a 10% revenue increase from new leases.

The other new director of professional services at Prorize, Navneet Verma, will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Prorize AI Pricing Platform. He brings years of experience building and coding complex algorithms, serving as part of senior management team in the analytics division at ABB Enterprise Software group, among other roles.

Raja Rangarajan, who has more than 20 years of experience in pricing and revenue management, joins Prorize as the new vice president of operations. He will manage the day-to-day operations of the company, including the DevOps team tasked with delivering price optimization solutions. He previously held technology and leadership positions at Kaizen Analytix and JDA Software Group.
